Brylee Addison Waltrip

Brylee Addison Waltrip was born September 23, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Eric Sterling Waltrip and Lauren Alexis (Carver) Hull.

Brylee attended school at Jenks Elementary, where she enjoyed playing with friends.

A lover of animals, Brylee especially loved riding horses. She was also always fond of dinosaurs and built up quite a collection! Brylee loved curling up with her weenie dog, June-Bug, to watch videos on her iPad, where you could find her giggling as she watched silly voiceover videos or entrenched as she was learning about anything she was currently "into." With the memory of an elephant, Brylee was great at quoting movies. She liked most Disney movies: Frozen and Moana being among her favorites, along with Trolls, The Land Before Time, and The Adventures of Milo and Otis.

Brylee enjoyed food and had a very mature palate. She always preferred home-cooked meals to ordering out. Her favorites included sushi, mushrooms, alfredo, and ice cream. Taking car rides was another favorite for Brylee, with her most recent trips being to Colorado and Silver Dollar City.

In preparation for welcoming baby Luna, Brylee recently began playing with her baby dolls. She loved everything about being a big sister, except sharing!

Something everyone should know about Brylee is that she was NEVER wrong! Though she may not have been precisely right... she was never exactly wrong either.

Goofy, ornery, silly, determined, and brave - Brylee will always be remembered as a fighter! She passed away in the early morning of August 22, 2023, at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory are mom and stepdad, Lauren Hull and Brandon, and siblings Theodore and Luna; dad and stepmom, Eric Waltrip and Becca, and siblings Elise and Ethan. She is also survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
