A memorial ceremony honoring the life of Bryan Lee Malone will be held 10 AM Saturday, October 10, 2020, at the Faith Church in Glenpool. Masks will be required by the family.
Bryan was born on February 16, 1970, also at Saint Francis Hospital. He was the first son of Timothy D. and Donna J. (McClintick) Malone.
From an early age, Bryan was always interested in computers and most anything electronic. He was known to be a “Trekkie” by his regular attendance at Comic-Con events. Bryan also had a memory like an elephant. Evidence of this could be seen, through the years, as he remembered details of conversations long forgotten by those who told him.
As a young man, Bryan was a prankster and loved April Fool’s Day. His family would recall pranks involving ketchup, knives, and even indoor fireworks. He also loved Halloween and the gory makeup that accompanied the holiday. While in high school, Bryan played the trumpet in the marching band. He graduated from Collinsville High School with the Class of 1988.
Following high school, Bryan attended Rogers State University. He relocated to Florida for several years - and would eventually return to Tulsa to pursue a career in IT. Bryan loved his position with New Wave Solutions, a company he valued tremendously and considered them to be his family. He was a fantastic problem solver and always found a solution for almost anything you brought his way.
Bryan met the love of his life, Stacy, in June of 2013. He eventually met her with a big kiss on their first date at the Village Inn. That was a moment she will never forget!
The couple married May 27, 2017 and spent a few wonderful years together. In recent years, Bryan and Stacy became involved at the Faith Church in Glenpool.
Bryan passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was 50 years old.
Surviving family members include his wife, Stacy; his parents; his daughter, Katrina Malone; brother, Jeffrey Malone, and wife, Michealle; his nieces: Kylie and Mackenzie; brother and sister in laws: Jason Webster and wife, Jill- and their son, Eli; Taron and her husband, Jerrad Bartlett and their daughter, Ellie Grace; and last but certainly not least, his two dogs, Harper and Rylee.
