Brady William Duncan passed away early Tuesday morning surrounded by family, May 24, 2022 at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was 28 years old.
Born July 22, 1993 in Midland, Texas, Brady was the son of Bill and Julie Duncan. Brady grew up in Houston, moving to Tulsa at the age of 11 where he attended school at Jenks. He was a member of the Jenks swim team for a time and graduated with the Class of 2011.
Following high school, Brady enlisted with the Oklahoma National Guard. He was trained as a heavy equipment operator and soon after was deployed to Afghanistan with the 133rd Engineering Battalion. Brady’s positive attitude and quick wit were infectious, always boosting the morale of his fellow soldiers.
After returning from Afghanistan, Brady attended Tulsa Community College. He enjoyed creative writing and served as president of the literary club.
Most of Brady’s career was centered on the construction industry. At the time of his passing, Brady was employed full-time by Southern Demolition as a project manager. Brady was a hard- working valued employee in every position ever held. While working at the Outback restaurant, Brady was everyone’s favorite server.
Additionally, Brady loved magic and was quite a character, always entertaining his friends and family. He was a selfless and caring person who was always focused on others. He enjoyed hiking, running with his dog Katie and spending time with loved ones. Brady valued family above everything. He was zealous in his aspirations to get married, build his own business, and raise a family. May he be forever remembered in the hearts of all who loved him.
Surviving family include his parents, Bill and Julie Duncan; his girlfriend, Alissa Bailey and her daughter Amara; brothers, Cooper and Grant Duncan; maternal grandparents, Mary Ann and Jim Meyers and Jim and Ruth Siress; and his sweet dog, Katie Mae.
Brady was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Sr. and Leona Duncan, and his aunt, Susan Duncan Lore.

A funeral ceremony honoring Brady William Duncan will be held 1 PM Saturday, May 28, 2022 in the Rivercrest Chapel in Bixby. Interment with U.S. Army military honors will be on Tuesday, May 31st at 10 AM at the Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa.
