Barbara Kay Driscoll

Services to honor and celebrate the life of Barbara Kay Driscoll will be 10 AM Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Tulsa Hills Church of the Nazarene in Tulsa, OK. Interment will follow at the Bixby Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the RiverCrest Chapel in Bixby. Barbara passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at her Glenpool residence in the presence of many friends and loved ones. She was 69.

Born July 24, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Barbara Kay Bell was the third of seven children of Herman and Johnnie (Wilkins) Bell. Raised in Glenpool, OK, Barbara attended and graduated from Glenpool Public Schools.

When able, Barbara loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, bird watching and was a great cook - especially desserts.

Barbara loved her children dearly and her granddaughters were always her pride and joy. Barbara was always there to help, encourage and flat out tell you like it was. She always managed to put others' needs before her own. She was a mom to three, nana to five and a great nana to be. However, she was Nana Bobbi to countless kids who were blessed to know her during her 33 years at Glenpool Public School. She loved her administration, her cafeteria ladies, co-workers, coaches, and all her kiddos.

This amazing lady will undoubtedly be missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons Keith Driscoll and wife Shayna; David Driscoll and wife Kelly; daughter Syrena Paul; granddaughters Kyra Driscoll; Gabrielle Driscoll; Britney Driscoll; Morgin Paul and Autumn Paul; and a great granddaughter to be. Along with sisters, brothers and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Udell Bell, her mother Johnnie Faye Bell and her sister Kathryn Sue Idelman.
