Obituary

A service celebrating the life of Alan Ray Nickell will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Calvary Tabernacle, 5118 W. 63rd Street in Tulsa. Alan passed away December 10, 2021. He was 60 years old.
Born May 17, 1961 in Altus, Oklahoma, Alan was the son of Carl Ray and Deloris June (Perry) Nickell. Alan was proud of his Cherokee and Choctaw heritage.
Alan was the owner/operator of A & N Trucking, Inc. He drove a semi-truck for almost 40 years.
He was the sweetest, loving man that was always willing to help others. He loved his family, but most of all, he loved his “pretty lil’ wife,” Debra. He always referred to her that way! Alan loved his horse, Dallas, and spending time outdoors while floating in the pool, hosting family cookouts, riding his motorcycle, taking his loved ones on Jeep rides, and working with his wife on their lil’ ranch. Debra was his entire world and he never failed to tell everyone how much he loved her. Alan will never be forgotten by a host of family, including numerous nieces and nephews, and friends who loved him!
Surviving family include his beloved wife, Debra; his children, Thomas Alan Nickell and Jennifer Ann Nickell; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Kaydence, Cade, Haven, Bailey, Jayden, Rylan, Makenzi, Peyton, Robert, Jennifer, Aaron, Jacob, Chris, J., Aubrey and Kynley; his bonus children: Rebecca and her husband Johnny; Ashly, Tamara, and Glen III; his brother, Wade, and sister Brenda and her husband, Tim; great grandchildren, Annabelle and Laine; and his mother-in-law, Judy and her husband, Jerry.
