Acai Shook

Richard Acai Shook was eager to come into this world and the morning of July 23rd he changed it forever. A tiny, fierce lion-hearted lamb, Acai faced challenge after challenge with the courage and strength he inherited from his parents, Tavia and Ricky.

He knew love in the calming voice of his mommy. He knew safety in the protective hands of his daddy. He knew peace in the steady beats of their hearts during the precious hours he lay at home in their arms. Though he was the one who we all prayed for, the gentle squeeze of his fingers, the warm sweetness of his breath, the soft perfection of his face, the unending love in his beautiful eyes brought healing and grace to every heart he touched.

His time on this earth was brief, but the joyful light he brought into this world with him lives on and we will always celebrate the amazing gift from God, our brave little angel Acai.

Services for Acai Shook will be held 2:30 Friday, October 9, 2020 at Rivercrest Chapel & Event Center. A visitation will be prior to the service at 1:30, also at Rivercrest.
