I met Sam in Dallas, we were great friends and quickly became like family. I am totally saddened and shocked by this news when I received it. We were talking about next steps in our career and lives, he was really excited about the fresh start with Amazon and moving to a new state. I remember speaking very fondly about his nephew and nieces, he was so happy, as am I, of being an uncle. My thoughts and well wishes go to you all. I met Sam on a float trip with some friends from church we instantly hit it off and become friends who served at church and played indoor soccer together
I am in shock! I am praying for your whole family. I remember the kids getting something stuck on my roof once (aybe a Frisbee or something). Sam was outside when it happened. He said he could get it down for us and before I knew it, he was on my roof tossing it back down to us. I still have no idea how he got up there so fast without a ladder. I always thought he would be a great Spider-Man.
Condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Sam. Although I only worked along side Sam for just shy of 7 months; his impact on me was immediate. I can remember a lot of the conversations that Sam and I had and how we encouraged one another. Sam, you are missed but I know you are in the father's care. God bless to you and your family.
