The picture is of a beautiful woman that my husband and I considered the picture of "what every mother should be....perfect in every way." Jerry Dale and Linda Monk knew them when we lived in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and our sons were close friends of their son. I am so sad to hear this. Mrs SanMiguel was one of my favorite teachers. She and my Mom were good friends in Tulsa for a number of years. Nancy you will be so missed by so many.
I watched Nancy’s service virtually and it was a very beautiful and sweet service which a beautiful and sweet lady deserved. Mike, David, Linda and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Our precious Nancy was one of a kind. She’s the definition of “beautiful inside and outside.” I will miss that sparkle she emitted when she walked into a room, and I will miss our talks so very much.
Mike, David & Linda,Nancy, “ Mrs. SanMiguel”, was a common and familiar name in our home while we lived in Tulsa. As a teacher and mother of our son’s wonderful friend, David, her everyday influence in our lives was evident and meaningful. Although I didn’t know Nancy as a good friend, I knew I could trust her to care for and advise our son. I share Nancy’s faith in Christ and know I will see her again. Her prayers for you all and your children go on eternally. God be with you all as you grieve and I pray sweet memories endure forever.
Linda I am devastated to hear of your mom’s passing. We loved being their neighbors until we moved a little over 2 years ago. The last time I talked to her was right after my own mom passed from cancer right after we moved. She was THE sweetest person. I enjoyed going over and visiting with her and your dad many times. Our cat Penelope loved her too. She cat-sat for us a few times.... We are sending hugs and prayers to you, your family, and your sweet dad. ❤️
Mrs. SanMiguel was my Law teacher in high school. During open house when my dad met her, they realized they had grown up together. She was always such a joy and I thoroughly enjoyed her and her teaching. We was a gift to Union and this earth. God bless her friends and family.
We have fond memories of bible study at Mike and Nancy’s home in Tulsa. Nancy was so hospitable and welcoming and had such great stories too. We missed them both when they moved.
Definitely a beautiful woman inside and outside. I remember riding the school bus with her and amazed by her beauty and kindness. I was a pleasure to reconnect with her at Union High School. She adored her husband, children and her grandchildren. Her love of the Lord was evident in her every day life. I love you and will miss you and your postings on facebook. You have left a beautiful legacy for your family. God Bless her family.
Nancy was always so giving and caring. We became "Lucy & Ethel" when she reluctantly helped me with coloring my hair and it turned out Lucille Ball red! Fortunately, we have a friend who has a beauty supply that was willing to meet us at her store at 9:30 at night so we could get the products to correct the color. That incident always gave Nancy and I a good laugh! Nancy was a wonderful neighbor and friend.
