Services honoring and remembering the life of Hunter Riley Ellard will be held at 10 AM, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Liberty High School gymnasium. Interment will follow in Bixby Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4-6 PM, Thursday, October 24th, 2019 at RiverCrest Event Center in Bixby.
Hunter was born November 10, 2004, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He loved the outdoors from an early age, always swimming in muddy ponds and creeks, fishing, and hunting with his father. Hunter was also a gamer and loved playing video games with his friends.
Hunter aspired to be a professional welder. He was looking forward to enrolling in the Liberty FFA chapter to learn how to work in the shop.
Hunter loved going to the youth group at church with his friends, Patrick and Jimmy. He enjoyed all types of music and his favorite color was green.
Surviving family members include his parents: Jamie Bishop and her husband, Gene and Reese Ellard; his brother, Brandon Rice; his grandparents: Edward "Pops" and Alice Rice, and Chere Czaia; his uncle, Derek Rice; and stepbrothers: Kevin Ellard, Steven Ellard, Zac Bishop, Chris Bishop, and Willy Bishop.
